Sir Ian Wrigglesworth
Chairman
Sir Ian first joined the Port in June 2003 for the initial term of 3 years and was appointed to the position of Chairman on 1st July 2005.
Formerly a non-executive Director of Tyne Tees Television and a number of private and public companies, Sir Ian was Chairman of the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art until 2009.
He is former Chairman of the Northern Region Confederation of British Industry and the Northern Business Forum. Until 2002 he was Deputy Chairman of the Governors of the University of Teesside and Chairman of the Trustees of the Port's two defined benefit pension schemes.
