Brian Reeve
Chief Technical Officer
Brian Reeve is a Chartered Civil Engineer with a wide experience in heavy engineering and port management.
His early career included underground projects such as the tunnel connecting the River Tyne and the Tees working for the Babtie Group and later on the Channel Tunnel for Transmanche-Link.
In 1990 he joined consultants Mouchel Parkman as technical director and became increasingly involved in the design and construction of port and harbour structures. He then joined Port of Blyth as a director in 1997, consolidating his career in port management.
Brian joined the Port of Tyne in May 2004 as Marine and Technical Director responsible for all aspects of marine operations, engineering services, security and safety management.
